JANE BOS JNB Jewelry I have been handcrafting jewelry for 6 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I love finding the stones and other beads that will make something beautiful, and I love seeing the final product. All of my jewelry uses only high quality semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystal, fresh water pearls, and occasionally glass beads. Every piece is made of sterling silver and/or 14kt gold or gold filled findings, chain, beads, clasps and wire. I have found, by wearing 14kt gold filled jewelry myself, that it stays looking great for a long time (years), even with constant wearing. It is quite different from gold plated, where the gold tends to wear off rather quickly. The jewelry I make is jewelry I would like to wear myself. It must be long lasting, well balanced and comfortable. I buy most of my jewelry supplies in Los Angeles and from a small supply company in St. Louis. My jewelry is fully guaranteed for any breakage or uncalled-for discoloration. Jane Bos was born in Muskegon, attended Hope College, spent 2 years living in Salt Lake City before returning to Holland where she received her Masters Degree in Social Work, worked as a Holland Hospital social worker, raised two children, and married Tom Bos. She now splits her time between Holland, Malibu,Calif. and traveling.
